1. Turn off the switches on the back of the cooler and unplug it.
2. Depending on your cooler, follow the corresponding actions.
- If you have a water cooler with a bottled bottle: Empty and remove the bottle and leave open the cooler valve that closes with the bottle
- If you have a tap water cooler with a filter bottle: Empty the whole bottle again and leave it out of the cooler and open, so that it does not retain moisture
- If you have a mains water cooler with filters and connection to the supply: Turn off the water supply and remove the cooler valve
3. Drain any remaining water left by the cooler from all taps and from the plug located low on the back of the cooler.

Coolant faucet leakage can occur due to various causes:
1) The faucet may be broken and need to be replaced.
2) The cooler may have collected salts or dirt and for this reason the mechanism in the faucet does not seal properly, resulting in leakage. In this case, you should clean the cooler.
3) There is the case that after cleaning the cooler, even though it is clean, the faucet still drips. In this case, something may have entered the faucet mechanism, causing non-sealing.

Key Note:
If the cooler has been inactive for a long time, e.g. during the Winter period and there was a small freon leak in the cooling system, it is possible that the freon may have drained during this time.
Freon leakage can cause insufficient or even total loss of cooling.
* To clarify that the work for the maintenance of the cold and hot water tanks does not affect the closed cooling circuit.
A water cooler is a device that provides cold and often hot water instantly. It is used in homes, offices, schools and commercial spaces, offering immediate access to clean, filtered or bottled water.
If you notice a leak in your water cooler, it might be due to one of the following:
Bottle-fed cooler:
➤ Try replacing the water bottle.
Cooler with filter bottle:
➤ Lift and reposition the bottle — the float inside might be stuck.
➤ Make sure the bottle is placed correctly.
Plumbed-in cooler (connected to water supply):
➤ Check if there is a pressure reducer installed.
➤ First, drain all the water from the cold tap and open the valve to check if the tank has water or if the float is stuck.
Is the cooler not lighting up?
